Description

Cluster of boulders right off the trail, with some good slabs, cracks and traverses, from V1-V6. This is one of the closest areas to the parking lot.

Getting There

Take the Eastbound trail from the parking lot, and where it forks head right. Walk maybe 200 feet and look for a large, short, turtle shaped boulder on the left.

Turtle traverse V6 7A  MO : Elephant Rocks State Park : The Front Range
This problem might not be much to look at, but it's actually quite fun. Very hard V6 in my opinion. It takes some effort to work the beta out, there's some funky moves on this one.Start matched on the big black sloper on the left side of the boulder. Move into the obvious sidepull to the right, avoiding the holds on the lip. Use some combination of brute strength and technique to keep moving right, and make a big move out right to a sloper on the lip. Top out when you can....[more]   Browse More Classics in MO
