This is a thin, arched boulder standing on end out of the ground. It's small and probably has potential for maybe a couple of routes. The rock is solid and strong on the uphill side. The landing is scattered with small boulders which could make rolling an ankle an easy thing to do. The top is big enough to stand on, but there is no walk off, so be ready to climb down the easy front (downhill) side.
This is an obvious boulder close and off the right of the main trail as you travel it north from Caprock Boulders. It looks like a fin sticking out out the ground. There is juniper tree right next to it. It's directly downhill from the cliff band.

Sit start by creating some compression between a pull on the arete and a push on a thin foot. Lever your way up to a juggy crimp. Do a balancy move to get your feet set under you. Pull up to the top for an easy top out.The rock is solid till you get get high. Some of the good holds at the top felt like they might peel off under significant weight, so choose your glory holds carefully....[more] Browse More Classics in CO
