The Feathers by firelight.

Description 

This is beginner central at Vantage. On one side you can even sport the tailgate belay. It tends to be a bit crowded due to the density of moderate routes. The feathers are climbable on both north and south sides allowing for most weather conditions.

Although this area can be overrun with climbers, it has some excellent routes that would make the most experienced 5.13 crimp-masters smile. I end up climbing here every time I go to Vantage.

This is a great warm up before you head out to the more distant walls.
It's also great when you are too hung over to hike far. ;)

Lots of good climbs, but be careful for rocks due to the high density!

This area gets a bit of a bad rap for having too many beginner climbs, in my opinion. I love climbing here every time I've been.

Got a perfect day out here on December 26. Walls were empty, sun was out, it was great!
