Description The warm-up of choice for the visiting sport climber, The Doghouse Arete will get the flash pump out of the way-and quick! Steep and tricky, this rounded arete offers the most room for error. Dynamic climbing leads to some tricky and powerful moves. A handful of jugs, a huge flat edge, and some killer crimps keep this steep route fun and exciting. Figure out the difficult sequences and stay out of the doghouse!
Location This is the third route in from the left. It follows a line of bolts up the strongest, most prominent arete.
Protection Five bolts to an anchor.
Steep with big holds!

| Enjoyable jug pockets, towel racks, and cruxy sidepulls up aesthetic arete with no approach. Peachy. |

| This is a totally fun climb. Very 3-Dimensional around the arete. Great place to belay. The bolts are great and it has a nice new set of chains at the top. |
