The Cross

The Cross is a hard and relentless route with a bouldery crux about a little over half way up, pull this move, follow the thin crack, and save your strength for the surprise ending.

The Cross is the sixth route in from the far left wall. Its most recognized by a thin, vertical, crack that runs up and stops just prior to the top. The Cross is just left of As The Crow Flies

Five draws + anchors (slings are nice for the top)

I think the grade for this rate is fairly accurate. However in keeping with the sandbag nature of chuckwalla in general I think the grade should be more like 12d as it is much more difficult than many of the other 12's in the area (mostly because it is sustained hard 11 climbing whereas the others have a couple 12 moves and then 5.10 to the top).

Wait a second. You think Chuckwalla is sandbagged?
