Description

A tall, fun wall from vertical to overhung with very deep water that is climbable even when water levels are very low.

Getting There

From the Point, Hike 1/4 mile into the cove along a mowed path that more or less follows the cliff edge. Follow the trail out onto a large rocky prominence that juts out into the cove. To your left is the top of the Corral Wall. The easiest access is to launch your boat from the right (lowest) side of the rocky prominence and float around to the other side.

A nice warmup ladder for those days out on the Lake.Begin on two obvious jugs about shoulder width apart and use pockets and blocks to climb the less than vertical face. It's possible to topout through the shrubs, but a solid stand position just below the greenery facilitates a forward-facing dive back into the lake....[more]   Browse More Classics in TX
