When you are at the top of this tower, watch out for bees. I had a bee sting my right in the forehead. There is a hive in a different tower at the same height (just slightly south and uphill) and bees like to go to places in straight lines, so you may end up being in the line of fire.

No bees yesterday while Hanna and I spent a lovely and peaceful afternoon on this most excellent formation. Had forgotten how much I loved LDE and the new route in from the east is a fun way to get here. Cold out of the sun, though!
