Adam climbing She Male.

The Boardwalk is a large ledge located left of the main part of the Shooting Gallery. This is a popular spot for an introduction to the Aretes and has it's two easiest routes. Unlike the main Shooting Gallery it is a wide, comfortable platform with trees. It is also dog friendly.

Getting There

Follow the left fork in the trail just as you get to the cliffs. Traverse left along dirt and ledges and follow the fixed ropes up the slope. at the top of the upper rope follow a trail right to The Board Walk.

Feel your way up the steepening blocky holds past the 3rd bolt and out to the lip of the small roof (crux). Pull up and over a couple more overlaps pa...[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
