Description

This outlier of rock is home to a fun roof and crack climb. The Blob is one of the few places to top rope along the Clearwater. To set up a rope, scramble up a gully on the right side of the crag to the tree anchor atop the block.

Getting There

Drive upstream past Lightning Dome to mile 24.8 and park at a small grassy pullout on the river side. Hike uphill for about three minutes to the base of the obvious crack.

Descent
Do one single rope rappel from the tree.
