Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This area is in between the Hen House and the Zebra Cliffs. I believe it is just east of The Black Pearl. It is more or less a very large, isolated formation, with two good routes on it.

Getting There

Hike from Live Oak is probably best , because you can see the formation as you are hiking to it. Hike as if you are going south to the Hen House, and when you see a formation to the west, that would be The Bismark. Hike over to it. Mabye 20 to 30 min. to approach.
