Description
The Big Red Turd is the obvious canine-like fang of reddish brown volcanic material with the precariously perched black cap rock at the summit.
Due to the location, downwind from the Blowhole, the Big Red Turd formation is perpetually moist and slimey, except when the tide is low and the wind isn't carrying sheets of saltwater spray toward it.
From right of center of the base, scramble up the apron, right of the deep cavernous holes, and into a shallow depression. Move left into a much larger hueco and follow the line of scoops to a mantle onto the shelf below the summit block. Pull onto the precariously perched summit block via positive rails. Down climb to the east.
