Battle of the Bulge, first ice section...

The Battle of the Bulge is rated a 3 in the book. The bulge is huge and has many ways to take it on. Staying on the right of the bulge will keep it in the 3 grade. Taking the bulge up the center makes it more in the 4 range. Climb the beautiful bulge to the shelf. Finish up the second tier to the trees above.

The obvious bulge in the center of the Main Area

screws, slings, Rap from trees or walk off left.

definitely in grade 4 condition this year. Steeper and longer (more sustained) than the Pegasus pillars without the advantage of stemming. Really fun place to climb and well worth the effort to find it.
