Description Start left hand on the lowest part of the arete on the corner and right hand about a foot higher on a mediocre slopey hold. Do some campusy moves and follow the arete all the way up. Cold temps are nice for this one.

Great conditions on a nice fall night. We did 10 campus moves in a row, seemed like the easiest way.

Just yesterday did the low start that was previously listed. that start seemed a little awkward but fun cause it's my style climb(slopey and burly with campus moves) No disrespect cause going even lower seems much harder but it seems that the previous low version with both hands on sloper seems to be a more logical start.it seems like dropping the left hand down to the corner would make the start really weird.

I agree, the other low start was easier to pull on. The entire arete from a sit though seems like the complete line. The first move is weird and very slopey. Either way good fun.

I would love to see a video of someone doing that sit start (especially without a butt dab lol !!) I would also like to see the previous low start reposted if possible.

Willing to bet Ian has video. I don't think another version of this sit start was posted prior to Ian posting it, just discussed. At least, I never saw it and did not remove it.

I changed the page from Cannons Low to Cannons sit because the line was not complete. I would have posted a new page but I'm sick of listening to people whine about posting variations and what not. It felt about v7 or 8 from the low. That start is where the photo is taken. No video of the sit since we did it at night. It was sent twice without dabs in a slightly delayed send train... one of the passengers was lagging a bit.

Hope to get back to the dodge soon and try the sit start. Thanks for listening

The first move is a bitch and kinda dabby for sure. Not saying the Low Start is not a boulder problem either. Have fun

Maybe I need to delete the Stand start ("Cannons") since a harder sit start has now been done as the more logical and complete line. ;) Nice job Ian/Peter.

The only reason I don't think you should delete the stand start is cause it flows a lot better than even the low start I did. I think people should try all 3 starts. I did the stand then the low and now I think I might be projecting the sit for awhile. I know it seems crazy to have that many variations but the problems are fun and in the end that is what it is about. Thats the dodge for ya

Nah dont delete the stand. If it was a situation where the sit was sent days after the stand was sent then yeah I would say delete it. But it was a long time before other versions were sent. Leave it as is. In my opinion get the sit done with both hands on bottom corner(which is hard as shit) and leave those three as three different start(Both hands bottom corner. Both hands about a foot up. and the original stand).. Either way strong work!

Yah I was just kidding about deleting the original.
