A striking, and conspicuous line, the Assassin (think ninjas stalking through the night) is guaranteed to exploit any weakness in your game, and to cut you to shreds unless you are ready to fight... and fight wisely.
This route is burly, pumpy, and the somewhat technical evil twin to Whiplash. It also shares the same bouldery start of that route. At the third bolt (long draw) start surfing left through a series of shallow pockets and good crimpers which will lead you to an obvious break.
Shake 'em out and take a good look above you. The steeper climbing flows well on somewhat hidden holds and ends in either a huge dead point to the large "ear lobe" feature, or a couple sharp pseudo jams (optional # .75 Camalot). Bare down for a few more intense and exposed moves over the final apex of the head wall as the angle breaks, then pick your way to the anchor.
