BETA PHOTO: The Ass Man Boulder - It obviously needs a reclean...

Description

This boulder is one of the furthest east of the Area 51 boulders, a minute or two past the Penguin Boulders, and up on the beginning of the slope of South Mountain. On the north east side is an approximately 20 tall, gently over hanging face with a right to left angling finger crack. It has been done both as a sit down from the little roof and as a stand off the boulder. Around to the right of this face, coming out of a hole is a nice steep moderate jughaul put up by Kasia Weglarz called Ass Man.

I have explored further NE from here. There are a few things, but fairly distant and scattered, nothing to warrant the walk with all the previous potential and the stuff towards Magic Pond.

Getting There

Keep walking NE from the Yosemite Cluster ( the second main cluster of boulders) for approximately 5 minutes. The Penguins are a line of 4 small to medium sized boulders running out from the slope. Continue past them about a minute and the Ass Man is just up the hill. It is fairly big, but doesn't look like much until you get around and can see the face.
