Description

A small highly concentrated group of short routes in a small alcove. Mostly in the 5.10 range with a few easier and harder routes thrown in. One side stays shady most of the time and the whole alcove is in the shade in the late afternoon.

Getting There

From the parking lot hike up the trail going straight past the boulder. At the split, take the right trail up the steep hill to the alcove on your left.

CONDITION REPORT
BEWARE FIXED ANCHORS!! All the lower-offs that I saw at The Alcove (5.June.2013) were in desperate need of replacement. They were all dangerously worn and sharp!! I do not recommend lowering off of them and you should instead rappel (and NEVER TR on permanent anchors).

I would like to thank the person that replaced the worn anchors in the Alcove. They really needed it.
