Southern Express, 5.9, T-Wall, climbs the crack to...

Description

This is a new line put up by Nathaniel and Luke in January 2008. Get started by pulling and stemming a scoop, standing up into a thin seam/crack with a few larger spots. Climb using the seam/crack and crimpy edges, dinking in small stuff where it will fit, to a cruxy move below a good horizontal crack. Get up on the horizontal and finish to an anchor below a BIG roof.

Location

Look for the Indian Creek style plaque at the base of the route (big cave), which is located to the left of wide corner of Time Takes A Cigarette.

Protection

Small wires and cams.

This route may get harder with traffic...there were several flakes that broke off while we were climbing it.

There is also a roof project that is being worked above this route...BIG ROOF!

They're the dudes that just climbed 50 pitches in a day at the T-Wall. Check the Climbing.com news on the mountain project front page.

Really nice addition. I pulled some loose flakes off at the top but I think the majority of it is really solid.
