Big Dave getting ready to tackle the totem pole ro...

Description

A burly roof move near the top makes for some tense moments even for seasoned 5.9 leaders.

Start at a long right-facing corner and follow a hand crack to a sizeable flat roof. Pull the roof and move up over easier ground past more roofs to the top.

Location

Starts a short distance past Prerequisite for Excellence, 10' right of Sunday Gardening.

Protection

Small to medium gear; sling it well to avoid rope drag. Bolted anchors.

Wow... what a roof move! Cool combo of bouldering and crack climbing skills to pop over that one.
