Hey guys!

A friend of mine is opening a telescope & GoPro rental company in Joshua Tree, CA this spring called COYOTE TELESCOPE. Grand opening is the weekend March 21st.

The Website is taking reservations NOW and there is a promotion for reserving early. I'm gonna help him with the biz some here and there so let me know if you have any questions. Look's like he is carrying the GoPro Hero3 Black edition (the best one) and there have been some pretty awesome climbing videos made using these in JT National Park.

Should be crazy fun. I checked out one of his scopes last night and saw a moon whip around the side of Jupiter. Total WOW factor. Also saw the Orion nebula...which blew my socks off.

Just what we need: more gumbies flailing around in remote deserts in hopes of potentially impressing their friends on FB. Solid business plan. I'm sure no injuries will result.

More people just need to put the camera away and just climb. Enjoy the moment.

HAHA! Hopefully no injuries will result. As the camera is strapped to the head, leaving the hands free.... however, I'm sure someone can find a way to screw even that up.

But it is a nice resource to have in JTree. Spend the days climbing and the evenings watching the stars through a kick butt telescope with a cold beer and s'mores.

Just wish old Blitzo was still here to enjoy it with us! He'd have done those GoPros proud.

It sounds like a decent idea and I wish the owner GOOD LUCK with the new business venture.

I'd rent one on a grocery trip day for a night or two with the right weather. a mushroom hook would be good too.
