When I worked for the US Forest Service, we had a saying that:
"...When trees burn, pigs die...."
It mostly had to do with the number of ham sandwiches they always seemed to give us for lunch. Haven't been able to stomach one since Hayman in 2002.

Spot on Pete. I still wince when I see a ham sandwich on white. Nothing quite so character building as choking one of those babies back with some hot water..for five months!....because inside every Hotshot lurks an angry pig!
