Target Rock (N. Face), Joshua Tree NP

Description

Shady and less popular than the southwest face this is home to a selection of routes 5.3 to 5.11 with most 5.10 and under. Nothing stellar here but it is close to the car and shady when you need it.

Getting There

Park in a large paved turnout midway between Ryan Campground and Hall of Horrors/Saddle Rocks. A signed trail leads directly to Target Rock and takes about 5 minutes from the parking area.
