Description Suggest change

This beautiful lake has a good selection of bouldering scattered around its shores, and along the stream that exists the lake on the north end.

The climbs are all on excellent quality rock and range from short and steep to taller more technical. The rock on the eastern and southern sides of the lake is similar to Way lake (Gniess), and the rock on the north and western sides is granite.

Finding the boulders can be a bit tricky but if you use the map on MP you should be OK.

Getting There Suggest change

Take highway 203 to the stop light at the Village. Continue straight on Lake Mary rd.. Follow this to the left turn at the Pokonobe Lodge. Take a right at the "T" and continue up to the Lake George parking area. Hike around the right side of the shore until it is possible to take a left up an open hill side on a well worn path.

Follow the path up and passed Lake Barrett. TJ Lake is soon reached.
