'Sweet Poison' (.10a), The Walnut

Edited photo co...

Add Photo  Add Comment    Printer View

Description

Climb the steep face up small crimps and side pulls to a decomposing buldge, passing 4 bolts along the way. Pass the buldge by climbing slightly to the right, passing 2 more bolts and continuing up to a pair of Mussey hooks.

Note: As this climb sees more traffic, this route will be a nice addition to The Alabama Hills.

Location

'Sweet Poison' is located on the split formation of The Walnut, just 25 feet right of Nothing, Honey. Locate a line of bolts heading up and slightly right.

Protection

- (6) bolts, (2) Mussey hooks for anchors.

Looks like some holds have broken off at the start. Felt more like an Alabama Hills 10b.
