Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment
Description This is one of the less runout climbs under the Royal Arches. Start down and right from the Arches Terrace Route. There is a vertical flake that curves to the left at the top. The climb starts up this flake and then cuts up and right onto the face. Wander past many bolts and a crux highstep over a small overlap. Near the top of the pitch the climbing gets easier but also more runout. From the anchors rappel with two ropes, or continue up a second pitch that is very runout and crosses the traverse pitch on Arches Terrace.
Protection A couple finger-hand size pieces for the flake at the start. Several quickdraws and maybe some runners to decrease rope drag.
