Description Suggest change

This rock outcropping lies somewhat on the saddle and somewhat on the backside. For purposes of getting there hiking through the backside is easiest and therefore that's where I'm listing it. The outcropping itself is a mix of Gneiss, Schist and Marble. Some very interesting geology going on here. This outcrop has short easy routes great for beginner/intermediate.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike past the Slugs and Crickets block and over ridge that is Bald Rock. Once along the backside follow the flat drainage north. The drainage narrows (past The Pebble) and drops down a steep. Continue down the steep to a clearing area. Across the way to the left you will see this outcrop.
