Gwen Blanchard, half way up Sungrazer on Oct 20, 2...

Closed March 15 through June 30 MORE INFO >>>

A good warmup climb for the area. Located on the sunny side where the trail joins the wall. Follow a thin crack, edges and pockets to an anchor with bolts separted by 2-3ft. (bring long slings for TR) A harder variation (5.9) avoids the crack on the thin face to the right.

Sungrazer has a nice little crux near the start that allowed my daughter to try out a heel hook to get past it. (Heel hook not necessary, but might help if you're short).

Looks like this may have had a flake to use for a foot sometime in the past that has recently popped off. The footing off the ground is dicey. Good route tho above the first bolt!
