| Do you have a bunch of towers under your belt? Yearning for the cool weather to come back so you can get out and bag some more summits? If so, there's no need to wait. Join me on an ascent of a remote and high-elevation tower. You may get an FA of an undone line on the tower or maybe just a rare repeat of a forgotten line. Either way, it'll feel like an FA. Here's a photo, if you needed any more enticement. www.flickr.com/photos/ewingpics/7754731560/ The tower is at elevation, in a cool canyon with running water. More towers are in the nearby area. PM me if interested. P.S. In the exceptionally rare case that you have already climbed this tower, I'd love to get some beta from you if you're willing to share. | FLAG |

| Not Arch, but close. You have any beta on the area? | FLAG |

| Ah, Texas Canyon? Nah, except for soft rock and the benefit of a lifted jeep for getting in. | FLAG |

| Nope...not Texas either. This one doesn't require even a high clearance vehicle, little lone a lifted jeep. It's quite a bit higher than Texas or or Arch. Rock looks decent. Better than Texas Tower, which I've done. Far better than Arches or Fishers, but it ain't no Castelton! | FLAG |

| Gawd, the suspense is killing me. Maybe you should just tell us where it is. That way, you'll be more motivated to go do it if Moab peeps are trying to steal your FA. | FLAG |

| Got up there and climbed the tower. It had been done before. Nice summit, not a bad line. A bit sandy...but what else to expect on a remote tower. Good fun. I posted a description for the route and the area, under "Hammond Canyon," if anyone wants more info. | FLAG |

| Awesome work! Missed this when you originally posted it. Hammond Canyon is one of the more beautiful places I've ever been. Lots of towers out there, but I never got around to trying any of them, even though I was living in Bluff at the time. | FLAG |

| Alexander...agreed on the beauty of that place...and the area in general. There's more to do up there if you have any interest...drop me a line. | FLAG |
