Climbed the Wall of 10,000 holds with my wife and three kids yesterday. We had a great family outing, but were moving a little slow and the sun was setting as we all reached the summit. I decided to lower the kids and rap off the summit instead of attempting the walk off in the dark.

Everyone got down safely, but the rope got stuck on when pulling after the rap and I choose to abandon it since it was getting late.

The rope is an inexpensive 60m non-dry, got it on sale for $80. It has seen moderate weekend use for about year.

Of course it's booty now, but if anybody does retrieve it and wants to trade for beer, make me an offer...

Sorry, but the window of opportunity closed. I was going to pop up there and grab it this afternoon to help out a SuperTopo bro... but then the quiz show started and I ran out of time. I hope you get it back. Russ Walling

Sorry about the cryptic answer.

I figured - as one Air Force general to another - it would be obvious.

Thanks for the offer Russ, but it's really not worth your time. I'm sure you've got plenty to do with the Blitzo event this weekend.

It's great to see everything you are doing to honor your friend's memory.

Now I'm off to SuperTopo to carry some water for Obama...

Funny as hell that you picked up on that line, as I too found it a beauty and was going to quote it.

Fucking cracks me up!

Dave: nah, nothing is obvious anymore these forums with all the fake names and stuff. A booty call is a good excuse to go into the Park and get some exercise, even if the stuff is sorta junk.

With it getting dark at like 4:30pm now, we really did only have a short window then I had to go to my softball game. Then, while running to first, my groin/dick blew off. I probably won't be going anywhere for a while, so hold off on any more booty gear until I recover!

"Carrying water for Obama" Damn, that is a nice route name!

Edit: See! Kinda like this?

"Water for Obama"...

I may steal that one while I'm out there. Be a nice addition to some pure crud I have out at Ghost Rocks or Bodick.

LOL!

I got your rope today. If you're out this weekend (or any other time) I can get it back to you. Brandt Allen

I don't know when I'll be out there next. Possibly the weekend after next.

Do you have a preferred beer?

NICE! I'll through in a beer as well for good measure! Russ, can you pick one up for me?
