Hoping someone can fill me in on more of the beginner and moderate routes at Stonehouse Pond? Are there such?
I know Todd Swain's book will cover this but until then any info would be appreciated. Hoping to get my daughter out there a fair bit this summer. Thanks.
most of the moderates at stonehouse are on the main face from the roost (5.7) to the nose (5.8+) with a static line you can set tr's up anywhere in between them. Keep in mind that all these routes start from a large sloping ledge that sits up around 40 feet off the ground. I would be hesitant to bring a child up there, you try dumplingtown hill?
No was not aware but great advice. I will check out the dump hill. Can I find info on MP? If not where? Pawtuckaway this time of year is brutal with the bugs. We have been to Redrocks in MA and will go back but looking for longer tr routes. Thanks.
A little further north in New Durham there's Rhines Hill which is loaded with moderate routes from 5.3 to 5.11 on the main wall and 5.10 to 5.13 on the left end.
Have been slammed. But thank you all. Sorry Travis but still have no idea how to check or send pm's. Newbie here on MP. Any help with that too? :) Thanks again.
