Pulling up on Cat Wall

Description

Stone Farm plays host to a a high concentration of good quality short climbs in an idyllic setting looking out over the Weir Wood Reservoir.

The edge is formed by a collection of buttresses and isolated boulders which range in height from about 10 - 30 feet.

The edge faces South and is very open meaning it dries quickly after rain. It is also a little bit off the beaten track so it tends, despite the serene surroundings, to be one of the quieter venues.

The buttresses and boulders that host the climbs are described here left to right (West to East)

Getting There

From East Grinstead, head south west on the B2110. After about 1 mile take a right turn towards Saint Hill. After just over 1 mile you'll pass the entrance (a footpath) to the rocks on your right. Continue down the hill a few more yards and park up in the parking lot on your left.

Walk back up the road, then cross the road and follow the footpath along to the start of the rocks.
