Description

Stem your way up the corner with mostly easy climbing but a couple of delicate cruxes with a finish out right on a slab.

The guidebook lists this as 5.9, but I've heard it rated 5.11, which seems too stiff. We thought it to be in the 5.10 range, probably easy 10.

Location

This is on the left side of the Canine Wall about 50 feet right of Stepping Stone. Look for the obvious, stemming dihedral.

Protection

9 bolts to anchor.

This is a super fun stemming climb! Be warned though the book calls it a 5.9. It climbs like a 5.10a/b.

A great challenging climb, did this today and definitely agree with the 5.10 rating. I would put it at 5.10b especially considering the climb directly to the right is a 5.10b, and I think it is much easier. Lots of stemming of course and pinching.
