Description 

You find out where the "stem" in Stem Christie comes from at the final (crux) moves. This thing is interesting and fun.

Location 

On the East side of Scull Rock, about midway up the formation. You see a bulge with a short wide splitter running on its right (Clean and Jerk), with a detached looking bulge to the right of that. To the right of the widecrack/chimney you see the inside double cracks that make up Stem Christie.

Protection 

Standard short rack. A #4 and/or #3 BD protects the crux. Scramble up and around to the anchors for Scull. A 60m rope reaches the ground.
