Horrible choss fest of the classic cascadian choss, this is actually a form of gneiss that is fairly crumbly. Nice granite, great fall zones, and can a very strong variety of grades.
Stehekin can only be reached by foot, plane, or boat. There is no access via road (automobiles). This is what makes this area remote and special, no cell reception, small population, and at the gateway to one of the oldest mountain passes (cascade pass)
