There are signs posted along the trail warning of a $1,000 fine or a 90-day jail sentence as penalty for trespassing. Description 

This route is same as Standard Route, but pitch 1 climbs the juggy crack stuff around the left side of the dihedral ramp and pops up to the easy slab. I find this start more fun and interesting than the canonical start, with some varied, vertical climbing.

Location 

This start is just left of Standard Route's start.

Protection 

Bring mid-range cams for left start. All others are the same as for Standard Route.
