| I am heading into the St. George area for the first time. Any areas/routes that are highly recommended in the 5.10-easy 5.12 sport range? Any trad recommendation in the 5.9-5.10 range? Thanks Deniz | FLAG |

| Check out turtle wall. It has a lot of quality (and steep) climbs in the grade range you're looking for. | FLAG |

| I recommend searching this forum where very similar threads contain hundreds of suggestions. Have fun, it's one of my favorite places to be. | FLAG |

| Best trad climbing we have is at the Underworld, solid cracks in the 5.10-12 range. Few folks know about it or how to get there. Much easier crack climbing is at Bluff Street Cracks, but shorter lines and few of them. My favorite route is a trad 5.11 beaut called Atomic Indian (short though) in Snow Canyon State Park (home of the best multi-pitch routes, i.e. Living on the Edge). Zen Wall is my favorite place to sport climb, avoiding the crowds with a bit of an approach. A lot of varied climbing there. Utah Hills and Woodbury Desert Reserve have tons of interesting climbing that should not be overlooked. The easiest, softest grade locations are Prophecy Wall and Crawdad. Be prepared for plenty of folks at those crags as well as at Chuckawalla. | FLAG |
