Description Suggest change

The Cooney Hills are some low lying "hills" or domes of granite about 9 miles south west of Wheatland. They offer bouldering and some short climbs usually near their summits. The rock here is kind of grainy and sharp. One can find some low grade rubies in some of the talus base.

Squaw Rock is the pinnacle summit that sits high in the higher mountains west accross a grassly valley from the Cooney Hills. Squaw Rock sits on Squaw Mountain and offers some crack routes to it's summit.

Getting There Suggest change
