Description

A wandering line established ground-up. May be the easiest possible lead to get to the top of this formation. After the 3rd bolt it's no harder than 5.2. The summit can be attained in one pitch if your rope is really long. This route accesses numerous top-rope anchors.

Location

East wall of The Canyon. Right most bolt line. Starts near the base of a small oak bush. See photo.

Protection

Quickdraws, bolted. It used to require one sling on a knob but someone added a TR anchor.

Many "Thank You"s to Spider Savage for his unselfish and dedicated efforts to eradicate the groves of poison oak that were flourishing in The Canyon prior to his arrival in 1997. I doubt this route would have ever been possible had the poison oak remained.
