| This should be an easy one for someone with a guidebook. I'm not sure what I climbed last weekend on Wall St. and am hoping to figure it out; none of the climbs posted on the site seemed to match its description.
It's just R of the school-room slabs, directly above a pull-out right of the bush on the right side of this picture. (Just before the big schoolroom pullout)
There is a R-facing dihedral that arcs right into a bit of a roof and disappears as it does so, then the route I wandered up: a crack/seam that opens up three or four times to accept thin fingers and pro, then closes off for the rest of the route, which is knobby, sandy slab at a slightly steeper angle than School Room. The anchors are super-prominent from the ground and the route isn't very tall. Leading it turned out to feel rather R-rated, possibly X. (I was looking at a ground fall on easier territory just before anchors).
I was pretty sure it'd be on here (due to being on Wall St. w/ such visible anchors) but maybe not.
Thanksya, all. | |
