| The Arches Task Force has completed the anchor replacement program we began a year ago. The most heavily used anchors have been changed from tat on questionable bolts and pins to half-inch bolts with painted chain. Many of the anchors have been moved slightly to alleviate the Parks concern over rope grooves. The following areas have seen some change: Right Chimney on the Penguins Park Avenue free climbs Death By Hands on the Organ The West Face of the Three Gossips Zenyatta Entrada on Tower of Babel Virgin Wool on Sheep Rock Chinese Eyes Off Balance Rock Owl Rock Bullwinkle Industrial Disease on Devil Dog Spire I'm guessing this to be around 600 ft of worn out tat.

Ditto that. That is a pile of tat!
Curious how you are painting your chains?
Cheers! | |

| This is a model example of climbers taking responsibility for our actions by working WITH land managers to mitigate a very real visual and environmental impact. Actions speak louder than words. Thanks for your efforts in organizing this, Sam, and all the others that contributed their time, money, expertise, and elbow grease to this project. | |

| Just curious as to the type of half-inch bolts you are using for the replacement (make, length, stainless, etc)? Thanks!!! | |
