The CCC and Triangle Rock Club present:
PLAYING FOR THE PAYOFF
July 19, 2008

This summer the CCC is trying to pay off the balance due on Laurel Knob. Come help us! Come out to Triangle Rock Club on Saturday, July 19 for an all-day climbing celebration. The TRC is located in Morrisville, NC, central to the Raleigh/Durham/Cary area.

- Come for the swag!! Buy some raffle tickets, bid in the silent auction, climb for prizes in the climbing/bouldering comp.
- Come for the beer!! Beer and barbecue will be available after the climbing comp ends. Oh, and you gotta be 21 or older to get beer.
- Come for the show!! Other festivities will include a Laurel Knob slide show and a showing of Dosage V.


Also, we'll have two climbing clinics to the docket. Mountain Hardwear/Evolv athlete Jessa Goebel will be conducting a Women's Clinic and a Technique And Movement Clinic. For only an additional $10 per person per clinic, this is a steal. These clinics are presented by Climb Fit, but all proceeds will go to CCC.

And lastly there will be a swap meet. So bring the outdoor gear you never use (like that tent you slept in once, that expedition pack you only carried in the Sierras, that -40 sleeping bag you took to Everest, and that Rocket Box that doesn't fit your new Prius) and rent a table from the CCC. Or simply donate your gear to the CCC for a tax write-off. We'll sell it and keep the cash.

Tickets are $25 and will be available at TRC that day.

The climbing comp is mostly for fun. Come, have fun, and maybe win yourself a chalk bag, a pair of shoes, etc. Top-roping and lead climbing will count toward your points total.

Door prizes will be given out throughout the day. Silent auction and raffle winners will announced after 5 PM.
