Sorry to hear about his accident and I wish him well, but it sort of begs the question of why he jumped 15 feet into 4 feet of water? Perhaps some of his friends can supply more information than the web site offers.

it was an unfortunate catastrophy, he had jumped there years ago, before all the dirt washed down the river to the bottom of the pond from the burn areas upriver. besides he watched someone else jump in and didnt see them hit bottom, which they did.

That's terrible. I hope he recovers. I've always been paranoid about jumping into shallow water and am always sad when I hear a story like this.
