Copper Mountain, CO - Tucker Mountain Backcountry Skiing 12,500ft elevation - STEEP & DEEP BABY!!!!

What's up SoCal!! My family and I (wife, my 6 year old daughter who is a solid 5.7/5.8 climber, and my 2.5 year old son who is a baby boulderer) are making our first trip out to J-Tree March 14th through the 17th. I am looking for a location that I can lead some lines and set up a top rope (5.7 - 5.9)for the family and then do some sick lines (5.10+ - 5.12) right next to them with my friend who is meeting me out there. I am hoping on finding a spot where I can do this all in a similar vicinity so the family is close by me if not next to me. Any suggestions???? We are excited to come and experience the legendary J-Tree!!!! Can't wait!! Thanks for all and any feedback!!!! See you in a couple weeks!!!!

I'd bet that most any area with a decent concentration of routes will meet you're criteria. A few that come to mind are: The short wall and Fuedal wall at Indian Cove, Dairy Queen Wall, Echo Cove, and the Hall of Horrors area. Good Luck and have fun! Don
