| For those of you who are locals to J-Tree, I have a simple weather related question. I'm packing for a trip out there next week and I'd like to get a handle on what temperature range I should come prepared for.
Note: I'm not asking for a prediction (nobody has that) I would though appreciate any guidance to what range of temps I should reasonably come prepared for.
Yes, I will be camping so I'm interested in night time temps as well.
Thanks! | |

| 30s to 70s would be a broad range to prepare for this time of year, though it likely won't get quite that cold. | |

| I just got back yesterday from a 2-week trip there. Temps were ranging from mid-day heat that sucked to be caught in the sun, to cold enough as the sun was going down that people had their down jackets on at 6pm one or two days. The wind was not bad, relatively, but it's smart to be prepared for it. The weather is simply variable, and can change quickly.
Bring layers that you can add/subtract from as needed as the day goes on. Instead of packing "deep"(like, several short sleeved shirts/lightweight pants), go "broad"(a t-shirt or two, light pants and a midweight pair, a fleece to pull over the t-shirt when needed and a down jacket for if it does get cold enough at night. | |
