Southern NY partners, Gunks

Hey guys,

I've done most of my climbing up in NH so far but i'm going home to Warwick, NY for a week and i'm looking for partners for southern NY, mainly the Gunks but also some of the other areas that are sprinkled out there. I have very limited experience placing gear, so it'd be awesome if someone could bring me out and give me some tips. I have two sets of nuts and some slings, plenty of oz carabiners, some draws, and a rope. A decent beginner set-up, I like to think. No active stuff, though.

Anyway, I'll be home from the 10th-19th, but i'm busy the first few days so the 13th-19th would be best for me. If you drive up past Warwick, carpooling would be ideal.
