DescriptionA beautiful dome in a beautiful location. East/Southeast facing slab & crack climbing in a secluded valley hidden in a spruce forest. Some of the best splitter cracks in the Black Hills. The routes are right at 100' in length. Morning to early afternoon sun and sheltered from the wind. A good place on a warm winter day. Afternoon shade for summer outings. Getting TherePark at Wrinkled Rock Trailhead. Follow a trail trending northwest from the parking lot downhill into the valley. At some point the single track trail will turn into an old two track road that trends towards the northeast. Follow the old road until the trail forks left, right and the old two track goes straight north near an overhanging buttress just west of the trail. Continue north downhill on the old two track. Make a right at the intersection with another two track a short distance downhill. Follow the old two track to the northeast a short distance until you cross a small creek. The Love Knob is the attractive dome just north of where the trail crosses the creek. The approach takes about 15 minutes at the most.
