Description

The low-start to Calm Before the Storm starts with both hands matched on the obvious lower left indented rail. From here move right (with difficulty) using a good pocket to gain the start holds for Calm. Work up through the light switch crystal as though climbing Calm Before the Storm. Finish for that problem. Excellent problem with tricky beta that includes an odd hand match in a pocket.

Holy Cow! Nice job Josh! I knew that line would be incredible. I don't doubt it could be Baldy's hardest. Now Virgin Martini needs the sit-start.... get to work.

Thank's Greg,
Jason and I were talking about figuring out a variation that would link most of The Perfect Storm into the finish for Wife's Wrath. It's not the Virgin sit but I think it would be an ok problem. Also, is the Pugilist on the same boulder as Sit Down and Be Counted?

That link-up would be sweet. Yes, the Pugilist is just to the right of Sit Down and Be Counted. It's got a funky scrunched-up sit start, with a big round left hand sidepull. It's pretty fun.

Hey Josh. Dan Dewell mentioned that there's video of the send. Where is it?

Dude! That problem is sick! The video made me kind of sick too, the way McNabb kept flipping the camera around... It makes me want to get strong again so I can try to do that thing. I can't believe I never even TRIED it! Well done.

Got it Josh. Thanks. The family and I are considering moving back to the hills. I hope it works out (I need a job). If so, you can show me how to climb again.

I've seen some of the stuff you've done. You'll be showing me.
