Description

This is a sweet boulder that is of the same caliber as the "Seul Avec Dieux" Boulder. Really good rock, but the landings are a little strange--protectable, but strange (kind of slopes downhill). There is no real danger of smacking a rock or a tree, if I remember correctly. The two problems that I am aware of are on the Eastern side of the boulder.

Getting There

See directions and pictures for findng this boulder. The "Black Roughy" Boulder is downhill and to the Southeast of the "Orange Roughy" Boulder. At the "Orange Roughy" Boulder, walk downhill through the gully and when you get to some Aspen trees, you are close to the boulder. It's on the left-hand side of the small gully. It sits to the South of a larger, orange-ish boulder that is pretty tall. There is deadfall around the Eastern edge, too.
