Description

This boulder was named when Dave Asscherick did the FA of Anomaly (V5) and he felt it was unlike anything else at Baldy. It's steep and hosts two very powerful problems, Sit Down and Be Counted (V8) and the Pugilist (V7) as well as Anomaly and a few easier lines.

Getting There

This boulder is on the northwest side of Baldy, I believe (going on Dan's directions). When you first reach Baldy, this boulder is just up and to the left, where it is tucked up against the main formation of Mt. Baldy. It is just uphill and south of the Melon Patch boulders. From the trail you will first see the slabby backside of the boulder, but go to the side facing Baldy and you will reach these excellent problems. Giving directions to boulders is hard.

One of Dave's finest contributions to Baldy (besides Seul Avec Dieux, Bla...[more]
