Description

Planet Claire Wall is uphill from "Star Dancer" and "Solo System" on the left side of the uphill hike from the sign-in. It is a yellowish wall with three climbs. There is "Space Doggy Dogg" (5.12), "Planet Claire" (5.11+), and a dihedral climb called "Firecracker" (5.10).

The rock here is not as stable as the other formations of the Monster and Marker Areas, but the climbs are challenging and worth doing, especially "Planet Claire."

Getting There

At Marker/Monster sign-in, hike uphill toward "Star Dancer," through the gully for about 5 minutes. "Planet Claire" is on the left side of the gully uphill and across from "Solo System" and "Star Dancer" next to a large ponderosa pine and a starting rock underneath the first bolt.
