DescriptionThis is a fairly decent short crack that offers very good introduction to leading trad at an easy level. The rock quality is fair and the crack takes pro just about anywhere. I found that the crack can be well protected by medium to large hexes or cams. There is also a large tree at the top of the climb that can be slung for top rope. Getting ThereTo get to the route follow the road Up from the Settlers Boulder on M Hill in Rapid City. The climb will come into view in about 1 minute after passing the Settlers Boulder and will be on the right.
