Description 

This is a fairly decent short crack that offers very good introduction to leading trad at an easy level. The rock quality is fair and the crack takes pro just about anywhere. I found that the crack can be well protected by medium to large hexes or cams. There is also a large tree at the top of the climb that can be slung for top rope.

Getting There 

To get to the route follow the road Up from the Settlers Boulder on M Hill in Rapid City. The climb will come into view in about 1 minute after passing the Settlers Boulder and will be on the right.
